The great thing for me is that it doesn’t actually need installing (our PC’s at work are also locked down to prevent unauthorised software being installed). When it’s running, you will see the Caffeine icon in the System Tray – and this is all you see. Double-clicking the icon empties the coffee pot (that’s what the icon is) and temporarily disables the program. Double-clicking it again refills the pot, and will keep your machine awake.
